Virginia Nurses Association

The Virginia Nurses Association (VNA) is a constituent member of the national American Nurses Association (ANA), and represents all Registered Nurses in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The organization is more than a century old.

The organization states their mission as being:

“…to promote advocacy and education for registered nurses to advance professional practice and influence the delivery of quality care.”

The VNA created established the Virginia Nurses Foundation. It provides scholarships to nurses as well as researches issues affecting the workplace of nurses. The organization is supported through tax deductible donations.
