Allen College offers an post-Master’s pathway to the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Applicants entering the program must have a Master of Science in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum graduate GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale. If applicable, they must give proof of national certification, and they must possess an unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse.

College of Nursing

The University of Iowa’s College of Nursing offers their Doctor of Nursing Practice degree to nurses achieve the highest level of practice in clinical practice or executive leadership roles. The school offers pathways for BSN prepared students, Master’s prepared APN students, Master’s prepared students, and RNs with a non-nursing Bachelor’s degree.
